Pajarita from Alhambra
In Spanish, a pajarita is a little female or hen bird.
One of the most common mosaics found in the Alhambra palaces in Granada designed by the Nazari Court during the XIIIth and XIVth centuries, is that known as the Nazari bird.
This geometric pattern was used during our workshop in the glass museum in Alcorcon on wednesday 14 november 2007.
Today pajarita forms the symbol of the paperfolding association in Spain.
