Happy Easter

Hi friends!

We have continued with our afternoon extracurricular meetings to proceed with our work.
Two weeks ago we also spent a wonderful afternoon at Castel del Monte, a nice sight a few kilometres from Bari; we took photographs to work on.
It's a first step to the next walking tour in November 2008 ... the castle is extremely interesting, with a lot of Maths mysteries and unusual things to discover. It was one of the many castles of the emperor Federic of Swaben.
The Apulian countryside in spring, the fragrant breeze and the lovely colours remind visitors of sunny holidays in the South of Italy.
We wish you all a Happy Easter.

Just before Christmas

Here we are! Our Italian PinP team is working for the last time before Christmas holidays! Incredibly frozen and snowy weather here in Bari but warm hearts, considering holidays are getting closer.

We would like to start exchanging messages in the PinP forum website, let us know about it!

Merry Christmas and Happy New Year.

Pajarita from Alhambra

In Spanish, a pajarita is a little female or hen bird.

One of the most common mosaics found in the Alhambra palaces in Granada designed by the Nazari Court during the XIIIth and XIVth centuries, is that known as the Nazari bird.

This geometric pattern was used during our workshop in the glass museum in Alcorcon on wednesday 14 november 2007.

Today pajarita forms the symbol of the paperfolding association in Spain.
